The story of OMÉ begins in 2020, after I just ended my studies in creative direction that brought me from Canada to England. I decided to slow down and stay in the South of France, around nature. I joined the creation of an art gallery as a mother and daughter project that resonnated like a desire to highlight the work of creators we admired. A fullfilling experience that made me meet amazing artists, craftman, and human being.

This is when I started to develop a growing curiosity and interest for the art of ceramics. I decided to learn pottery professionally, during a year of weekly classes that explored wheelthrowing, and all the different and traditional techniques.

I immediately wanted to put this know-how into practice, and for the service of my creation. I then shaped my first pieces and my universe.

I have now founded OMÉ STUDIOS and dedicates all my time to it. OMÉ is the contraction of "Home" and "OM" the universal mantra in yoga that helps bring serenity in the mental. Creating with clay is a form of meditation for me and I seek to bring a piece of serenity into each pieces I make.
